Easily request money you are owed with the Interac e-Transfer Request Money feature including the option of adding an invoice number and due date with certain financial institutions.
How to request money instantly:
- Log in to your financial institution's online or mobile banking and go to Interac e-Transfer Request Money.
- Enter the amount and select where you would like the funds to be deposited.
- Once your request has been fulfilled, funds will be directly deposited into your bank account and you will be notified immediately.
The new Autodeposit feature allows you to have money sent via Interac e-Transfer automatically deposited directly into your bank account without having to answer a security question for every transaction.
How to set-up Autodeposit:
- Log in to your financial institution's online or mobile banking and go to Autodeposit.
- Register your e-mail address and link your account. Any transfers to the registered email address will be automatically deposited into the account.
- You will receive an email to confirm your registration. Check your inbox and click "Complete Registration".
Interac e-Transfer Bulk Disbursement is a streamlined, secure, and cost-efficient way to send bulk payments in a single file upload, without the need for recipients’ banking information. Recipients can receive immediate payments anytime, anywhere through online or mobile banking.
How it works:
- Create a bulk disbursement file that includes the payment amounts and the recipients’ email address or mobile phone number and send it to your financial institution.
- Your financial institution will process the payment file and an Interac e-Transfer notification will be sent to each recipient on your behalf.
- Once a notification is received, funds can be deposited immediately to their bank account through online or mobile banking.
- Your business will receive regular reconciliation reports.
